Retail | Permanent Part Time | Charters Towers, QLD

We are currently searching for a highly skilled individual to join our team as a data entry and stock control processor. In this role you will be responsible for the integrity and maintenance of data entry processes and tasks. This is a permanent part time position based in Charters Towers, QLD.

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9am - 2pm.

Weekends are not required.

Key responsibilities & competencies:

As a data entry and stock control processor you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the return of faulty products to suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate data integrity and consistency across all systems.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondences promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct accurate and timely data entry tasks to update records and databases.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders for multiple store locations, ensuring timely and correct entries.
  • Work effectively with team members and other departments to support a cohesive work environment.

Relevant Experience & Skills:

  • A dedication to accuracy.
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in data entry or administrative support roles.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly, maintaining high standards of confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time well, particularly when handling large volumes of data.
  • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of other data entry or database software (including the use of Microsoft excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with team members, managers, and external contacts.
  • Ability to support colleagues and other departments with a helpful, positive attitude, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
