ABOUT HARVEY

Meet Team Titley rider and accomplished campdraft competitor, Harvey Wakeford.

Harvey’s no stranger to the winner’s circle. Over the years, he’s claimed major titles including the 2019 Powlathanga $10K Open Campdraft and the 2014 Clermont Restricted Open titles, along with multiple finals appearances at events like the Cloncurry Stockman’s Challenge and Future Stars Futurity.

Before dominating the campdraft scene, Harvey made his mark as a talented jockey - earning Most Successful Jockey at the Charters Towers Amateurs for two consecutive years in the early ’90s. He later spent a season in Canada as an assistant driver on the World Professional Chuckwagon Tour, which saw him compete twice at the Calgary Stampede.


Based in Sellheim, QLD, Harvey also runs HG Equine - a horse training and colt starting business recognised for producing well-rounded young horses with solid foundations across multiple disciplines. Outside the arena, Harvey and his wife Linda share a love of travel (with Japan a standout favourite) and enjoy quiet moments at home with their dogs, Daisey and Molly.
