ABOUT MADDISON

She’s tough, talented, and no stranger to the arena - meet one of our newest members to Team Titley, Maddison Caban. From the heart of Emerald Queensland, Maddison has been immersed in the rodeo world since before she could walk. Raised in a family of competitors, she began riding horses at the age of two and entered her first rodeo at just four years old.

Her dedication to the sport has been shaped by the influence of her parents - especially her mum Leanne, whom she describes as not only an outstanding horsewoman but also a generous mentor and role model, both inside and outside the arena.

With a lifelong passion for the sport, Maddison now competes professionally in Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping and occasionally Team Roping.

When she’s not on the road competing, Maddie leads a busy life managing a cattle property in Keppel Sands Queensland, alongside her partner, Ben. Her days are spent mustering, drafting, branding calves, and keeping operations running smoothly on the station. She also works as a contract musterer and devotes much of her time to training young rope and barrel racing horses.

Among her proudest achievements are being crowned the 2022 APRA Junior Barrel Racing Champion, taking out both the Rookie Cowgirl of the Year and Rookie Barrel Racing titles in 2024, and claiming the 2024 Tri Series All Around Cowgirl title. Her favourite event is the iconic Mount Isa Rodeo, known as the “Daddy of ’em all” in Australia, closely followed by the APRA National Finals Rodeo and the Townsville NQ Elite Rodeo.

With big goals still ahead, Maddison’s just getting started. Her work ethic, love for the sport, and passion for the western lifestyle make her a perfect fit for Team Titley. We’re proud to have her on board and can’t wait to see where the next chapter of her rodeo journey takes her!
