ABOUT HARVEY

Meet Team Titley rider and multi-winning campdraft winner, Harvey Wakeford.

Harvey’s no stranger to the competition scene. Over the years he’s picked up wins like the 2019 Powlathanga $10K Open Campdraft and 2014 Clermont Restricted Open, along with multiple finals appearances at the Cloncurry Stockman’s Challenge and Future Stars Futurity.

Before all that, he was a handy jockey too - taking out Most Successful Jockey at the Charters Towers Amateurs two years running in the early ’90s. He’s even competed twice at the Calgary Stampede while touring Canada as part of the World Professional Chuckwagon circuit.

Based in Sellheim QLD, it's here that Harvey also operates HG Equine, a horse training and colt starting business known for producing young horses with strong foundations across a range of disciplines.

Outside the arena, Harvey alongside his wife Linda enjoy travelling the world (Japan being a standout favourite) and spending time at home with their dogs, Daisey and Molly.
