Warehouse Supervisor

Retail | Full Time | Mackay, QLD

We are currently searching for a full time warehouse supervisor to join our team. This position will be based in Mackay, QLD at our new store, opening November 2024. The role purpose of the warehouse supervisor is to efficiently manage all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure optimal inventory management, operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Our store trades 7 days a week so you must be available to work every third weekend on a rotating roster.

Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:35am - 5:10pm
• Saturday: 8:40am - 2:10pm
• Sunday: 9:35am - 1:10pm

(Every third weekend)

Key responsibilities & competencies:

As a warehouse supervisor you will be responsible for and overseeing the following areas:

• Inventory management
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
• Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for warehouse staff
• Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff to achieve departmental goals
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rates, cycle times, and
  accuracy levels
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and
  continuous improvement
• Provide assistance in front of store sales, including but not limited to greeting customers,
  answering enquiries, and processing transactions
• Ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking,
  packing, and shipping of goods

• Strong leadership skills to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of warehouse staff
• Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems
  (WMS)
• Ability to develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimise workflow
  and maximise productivity
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and higher management
